Educational Grants Management System Home

Questions regarding this system should be submitted via the Feedback Form:

Click on the Contact WDE on the left-hand side menu bar, fill out the form, and submit it to the WDE.
You do not need to be a current user to use the Feedback form.

The eGMS team is in the process of formalizing the help desk's efforts to address questions faster and more comprehensively: when a user submits a ticket via the Feedback form, the system pulls additional information from the database, thus eliminating the need for "back-and-forth" clarification emails. Additionally, having a record of submitted tickets will help us improve the system as we go along and will ensure delivery of better results in the future. LEA representatives are kindly asked to refrain from submitting eGMS-related inquiries via email or voicemail messages, as this complicates assistance in a timely fashion.

Grant managers receiving eGMS-related questions from their subgrantees are asked not to liaise but to refer them to the feedback form instead. In addition to helping us improve the system, this will eliminate the "broken phone" situations we experience most of the time when grant managers try to explain a problem or an issue on behalf of their subgrantees; it creates unnecessary confusion and adds to the resolution time and effort.

For all eGMS-related inquiries submitted via email and voicemail, tickets submitted via the feedback form take priority.

For all eGMS-related inquiries left on the voicemail, if the eGMS representative is out of the office, the message will stay unanswered until they are back, and the inquiry will then get in the general queue.

Keep in mind:
1. Your district must have a
non-expired (current) SAM ID certificate on file to submit an application.
2. LEAs no longer have to fill out the Amendment Description section. Please use the “Create Comment” feature to describe why the revision is being created instead.
3. The system allows you to copy over data from the last year's application for all ESEA Consolidated application pages (as well as for some pages within other applications). Click Copy Previous Fiscal Year Details link in the top left corner of the page (if available). When done updating entries to reflect this year's changes, click "Keep Changes" and then "Save and Go To" to move to the next page.
4. In-depth guidance is available under ESEA Consolidated Application Instructions (accessible from the WDE Resources tab on the left side menu bar).
5. Budget Activity Codes and Definitions used in ESEA, McKinney-Vento, and 21st CCLC grants can be found here.
6. NEW: Instructions for Cash Request Descriptions are uploaded under the WDE Resources (in the eGMS Guides and Instructions for LEAs folder).

Adding, updating, and deleting users may only be done through the WDE
Within each LEA, there are designated parties who have the capacity to manage eGMS User Request Form and submit it to the WDE. If you are not that person, please contact them with your request. You can find their contact info in your LEA's Address Book (link to the page is available on the left-side menu bar).
If your role at the LEA allows you to submit the eGMS User Request Form to the WDE, kindly follow the steps below:
     1. From the left-side menu, go to Application Supplement -> Application Supplements.
     2. Click on eGMS User Request Form.
     3. Change Status from Application Supplement Not Started to Application Supplement Started.
     4. Fill out all sections of the eGMS User Request Form.
     5. Change Status from Application Supplement Started to Application Supplement Completed. By doing so, you will effectively submit the form to the WDE for further processing.
