IMPORTANT: 2026 ESEA Consolidated application is now open
There is still no timeline for the Title II-A or IV-A allocations, and the final deadline will be sensitive to that. Please visit eGMS Guides and Instructions for LEAs section of WDE Resources page on the left side menu bar for ESEA Consolidated Application Guidebook and ESEA Consolidated Application FAQs for detailed information on how to work with the new application. Please note that the system allows you to copy over data from the last year's application, page by page.

When done updating the page to reflect this year's changes, click "Keep Changes" and then "Save and Go To" to move to the next page.
REMEMBER: Your district must have an non-expired (current) SAM ID certificate on file to submit an application.

FUN: eGMS podcast is here!
The podcast (available along with presentation slides on the WDE Resources page under 2025 STAR Conference) was created based on the 2025 STAR eGMS presentation. Listening to the podcast while working with slides, you will get a chance to refresh your knowledge on the following topics:
  - working with SAM ID Verification, User Change Form, and grant-specific application supplements;
  - grant budgeting (incl. competitive vs entitlement);
  - creating and submitting cash requests;
  - interpreting and addressing
most common validation errors;
  - workflows;
  - ways to communicate with the WDE within the system; and
  - accessing available resources.

Change in the application revision procedure for all ESEA Consolidated grants
LEAs no longer have to fill out the Amendment Description section. Please use the “Create Comment” feature to describe why the revision is being created instead.

IMPORTANT: 2026 ESEA Assurances supplement is now open
Completing these assurances makes your consolidated application substantially approvable and will allow you to back-date allowable expenses to July 1, 2025 once the application is fully approved. Please submit your assurances by June 30. Hover over Application Supplement in the gray bar on the left, click on Application Supplements, then choose the 2026 year. Visit WDE Resources page for more information on how to work on application supplements in general and on the ESEA Assurances in particular.

Returned funds cover sheet has been added to the list of resources within the eGMS Guides and Instructions folder under WDE Resources menu option on the left-side bar. Please download a copy and use this cover sheet when sending back checks to return funds to the WDE programs. All WDE Program Managers will very much appreciate you adding the Returned Funds cover page to your correspondence!

Adding and deleting users as well as updating roles may only be done through the WDE
Within each LEA, there are designated parties who have the capacity to manage eGMS User Request Form and submit it to the WDE. If you are not that person, please contact them with your request. You can find their contact info by visiting your LEA's Address Book page on left-side menu bar.
If your role at the LEA allows you to submit the eGMS User Request Form to the WDE, kindly follow the steps below:
     1. From the left-side menu, go to Application Supplement -> Application Supplements.
     2. Click on eGMS User Request Form.
     3. Change Status from Application Supplement Not Started to Application Supplement Started.
     4. Fill out all sections of the eGMS User Request Form.
     5. Change Status from Application Supplement Started to Application Supplement Completed. By doing so, you will effectively submit the form to the WDE for further processing.

All questions regarding this system should be submitted via Feedback Form, as follows:
Go to
Contact WDE option on the left-hand side, fill out the form and submit it to the WDE. You do not have to be a current user (have a login/password) in order to use it. Inquiries submitted via Feedback Form take priority over those submitted via regular email or a phone call.
